Several effective ways to collect and purify welding smoke

Welding fume is a type of fume produced during the welding process when the welding rod comes into contact with the weldment under high-temperature combustion conditions. This type of fume contains manganese dioxide, nitrogen oxides, fluorides, ozone, etc., which float in the air and cause harm to the human body. Therefore, welding fume purification is one of the key topics in the environmental protection industry and one of the key areas of fume purification in Jinan Huaxin.

For the treatment of welding fume, in addition to considering the air volume and purification efficiency of the host, the collection method of the fume is also very important. Jinan Huaxin has developed and designed different fume collection methods for different working conditions, as follows:

1、Blowing and Suction

For workshops with many welding stations, large spans, and scattered welding points, you can choose a blowing and suction fume collection method.



The blowing port blows the exhaust gas and dust to the air inlet, which then sucks away the dust and dust and reaches the dust removal host through the pipeline for efficient filtration and purification to meet emission standards.



2、Suction arm

For welding conditions where welding points are concentrated and welding stations are relatively fixed, a universal suction arm collection method can be used.



The suction arm can rotate 360° flexibly and hover at will. The position of the suction hood can be adjusted according to the welding point. The strong suction force can capture smoke and dust from the source, and the purification efficiency is as high as 99.9%.



3、IINTELLIGENT TOP SUCTION HOOD

For working conditions where the welding station is fixed and no crane or hoisting is required, a fume hood can be used to collect the smoke.



Install the fume hood above the equipment and configure arc-proof soft curtains around it to effectively prevent smoke from escaping. During welding, the smoke is sucked upward by the suction force and reaches the dust removal host through the pipeline for purification and discharge up to the standard. The fume hood can also be used for robot welding fume control.



4、IINTELLIGENT MOVABLE TELESCOPIC ROOM SERIES

For welding workpieces that are large, with many welding points, serious welding fume pollution, and crane lifting required, where small dust removal equipment cannot meet the fume purification needs, a mobile telescopic room can be used to handle the fume.



The telescopic room directly covers the welding area, and highly flame-retardant PVC soft curtains are installed around to prevent smoke and dust from escaping. The air intake sucks away the smoke and dust, and reaches the dust removal host through the pipeline for efficient filtration and purification to meet the emission standards. When not working, the telescopic room is collected without affecting other operations.



5、High negative pressure dust removal

High negative pressure dust removal refers to the reverse airflow generated by atmospheric pressure that brings dust into the dust removal host, where it is filtered and discharged in compliance with emission standards. The high negative pressure dust removal equipment developed and produced by Jinan Huaxin is of two types: vertical and horizontal.
