The main differences between bag dust collector and cartridge dust collector are as follows:1. Different working principles:- The working principle of cartridge dust collector is that dust does not penetrate into the filter material, but uses the surface aperture of the filter material to complete the purification process. Surface filtration replaces deep filtration, and dust no longer penetrates into the filter material.
- Bag dust collector is that dust is deeply embedded in the filter material, and a dust layer is established on the surface of the filter material to ensure dust removal efficiency. The dust cleaner uses an electric motor to drive the eccentric wheel and connecting rod to shake the bag to remove the dust on the surface of the filter bag.
2. Different filter materials:- Cartridge dust collector uses hard materials, which are folded into a cylindrical shape, can be flame retardant, oil-proof and waterproof, and has high dust removal efficiency.
- Bag dust collector uses soft material bags, and adds dust bag cages to the filter bags for fixing. It is suitable for dry, non-fibrous dust industries.
3. Different filtration fineness:- The filtration precision of the cartridge dust collector is generally 1-25μm, the purification efficiency is as high as 99.9%, and the dust removal rate can reach 95%.
- The filtration precision of the bag dust collector is 1-100μm, and the dust collection efficiency can reach 99.9%.
4. Different dust removal efficiency:- The dust removal efficiency of the cartridge dust collector can reach up to 99.9%, which is suitable for high-concentration working conditions.
- The dust removal efficiency of the bag dust collector can only reach 99.5%, which is not conducive to the control of total emissions.
5. Different cost:- The materials and components used in the cartridge dust collector are relatively high, and the cost is relatively high.
- The bag dust collector does not have too many complex requirements, so the cost will be lower.
6. Different backflush force:- The cartridge dust collector adopts compressed air, with strong backflush force, which guarantees uniformity to a large extent.
- The back-blowing force of bag-type dust collector will be relatively small because it is operated by a fan, and the back-blowing will be uneven if the filter bag is too long.
7. Different air leakage rates:- The filter cartridge dust collector has fewer openings, and the air leakage rate can generally be controlled within 2%.
- The bag-type dust collector has more openings, and the air leakage rate is generally 5% or more.
These differences make bag-type dust collectors and filter cartridge dust collectors have their own advantages in different application scenarios. When choosing, you need to decide which type of dust collector to use based on specific working conditions and needs.
